Actress, designer, philanthropist, and curator. After 17 years in the entertainment industry, it is safe to say this young woman is more than what meets the eye. Parker originates from humble beginnings in Los Angeles, CA where she started developing her acting skills at the tender age of four. In her words, “Acting is what makes me happy, whether it is theatre, sitcoms or movies, I truly just love to act”. Constantly honing in on her craft, she has developed a skill set that doesn’t just put her in front of the camera, but behind the scenes as well. “I want to create content that effects a generation,” Parker states, “I want to make a difference in the world by doing what I love and impacting others.”
A multi-faceted talent from writing to acting and singing, Parker has made herself the total package. However, her journey does not stop there. Away from the entertainment industry, she has established herself as a young philanthropist. Spending the past six years with the Stand Up to Cancer Foundation, Parker has dreams of creating her very own non-profit organization that will help others in need. “There are so many people that need hugs in this world; underprivileged children, abused women and the homeless are a few I am especially passionate about.”
When Parker does have a moment to herself aside from her career, it almost always is dedicated to traveling. Immersing herself into cultures around the world has not only given her unforgettable memories but also broadened her view on society. A common theme Parker has picked up along the way, women empowerment. "Women have the ability to do amazing things for education, medicine, politics and everything else in between. Whatever industry it is, women have the strength to make a positive impact and entertainment is my stepping stone to prove that."
Whether it is on camera, behind the scenes or in the community; It is obvious Parker aspires to positively impact lives. Consistently being selective of the work she accepts and deliberate in the path she has planned for herself, "I have a vision for myself and if the work presented does not reflect that vision, then I don't do it." A woman on a mission is the best way to describe this budding star, a journey she would love for you all to join her on.
Parker spends her free time swimming, listening and dancing to the sounds of Usher Raymond and Beyoncé Knowles, and playing with her two half-brothers named Khari (10) and Jake (3), her half-sister named Dilynne (15) and her father, Polo Posey. Parker resides in Los Angeles with her mother, Heather Stone.
